Achieving efficient electrification with renewable energy sources, independent of the traditional power grid, remains a significant challenge. Even buildings equipped with rooftop solar typically feed energy into the grid rather than directly powering the building, perpetuating grid dependency and inherent inefficiencies in the solar energy model. A key barrier to widespread electrification is the affordable deployment of these technologies, particularly in underserved communities. As demand for sustainable energy solutions continues to rise, especially for large common loads like HVAC, the urgency for efficient, self-sustaining systems capable of operating independently from centralized power networks becomes ever more pressing.
